Have you ever wondered what your infant/toddler is trying to communicate to you?
Children want to communicate with us. They want to tell us what they need they just don't have the verbal skills to articulate them to us as infants & toddlers.
Research studies have shown that children can use sign language to communicate what they want long before they can articulate it.
Signing as a parent provides you with the unique opportunity to develop a window into your child's mind. By including signs in daily activities, you'll spend less time guessing what your child wants and more time fulfilling their specific needs.
Your child can tell you when they want "milk", "water", or a "cracker" by simply signing to you. Knowing just a few basic signs can make the toddler years less challenging and actually a more enjoyable time for you and your child.
